Madam/ Dear Sir,

Formation of new district in the State of Assam –
Assignment of Lead Bank Responsibility

The Government of Assam vide Gazette Notification No.GAG(B) 491/2019/107 dated January 12, 2021 had notified formation of a new district in the state of Assam. It has been decided to assign the lead bank responsibility for the new district as under:

  Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana      PMJJBY is an insurance scheme by Ministry of Finance, offering life insurance cover for death due to any reason.
